About Tahoe Haven

Billy Landis is the founder of Tahoe Haven Outdoor Living and a long-time Tahoe local. Originally from the Sacramento area, Billy grew up spending summers in Lake Tahoe with his grandparents and began working locally at a young age. After studying business and entrepreneurship at the University of Oregon, he returned to Tahoe with a clear goal: to build a hands-on, creative career rooted in the outdoors.

Starting with small yard projects and growing through word-of-mouth, Billy developed his craft in landscape construction and outdoor living design. With over 17 years in the Tahoe region, he now leads a company focused on building durable, thoughtfully designed outdoor spaces tailored to the mountain environment.

Billy lives in Lake Tahoe with his wife, two kids, and their dog Monty, and is proud to serve the Reno–Tahoe community as both a business owner and a father.

Tahoe Haven Outdoor Living is the design-build outdoor living division and DBA of Tahoe Seasonal Solutions, created to focus exclusively on higher-end, thoughtfully designed outdoor living and landscape construction projects. As our work has evolved, Tahoe Haven now leads the planning, design, and execution of custom outdoor environments, while Tahoe Seasonal Solutions is transitioning to focus primarily on ongoing landscape maintenance and property care.

This structure allows each brand to operate at a higher level of specialization—Tahoe Haven delivering refined, design-driven outdoor spaces built for the mountain environment, and Tahoe Seasonal Solutions providing reliable, professional maintenance services that protect and extend the life of those investments. Both brands are rooted in the same team, standards, and local reputation built over years of serving the Reno–Tahoe community.
